Work WITHOUT risk | Improved safety with Blue/Green LEDs
The unique Blue/Green LED transilluminator developed by NIPPON Genetics is at the heart of our gel imaging systems.
It emits visible light with a wavelength of 470-520 nm.
Unlike harmful UV light, Blue/Green LEDs do not damage nucleic acids.
The Blue/Green LED technology allows the detection of all common green, yellow and red DNA stains.

In addition to our award-winning FastGene® FAS-X and our top seller FastGene® FAS-DIGI PRO, NIPPON Genetics offers various gel documentation systems. These differ in size and features. What they all have in common, however, is the unbeatable Blue/Green LED technology.

It is not always easy to find the right gel documentation system for personal requirements. Arrange an appointment with us. We would be happy to demonstrate how our devices work and how to use them (online or on site).

The prevention of UV-light caused mutations which could occur during the purification process was essential for our decision to switch to Blue/Green LEDs. They work perfectly with MIDORI. Also EtBr-signals are as good as when using UV-light. Harmless radiation for eyes and skin – easy to use, very nice!
